Dish It Out! 1000 Free RPs!

by Blue Eyed Nate

It is a time of feasting and we have put together a contest in honor of the Thanksgiving season, yet still holds true to the Mafia Wars spirit... Dish it Out!

Simply create a Mafia Wars themed dish for your holiday festivities, snap a photo and enter it for a chance to win 1000 RPs! (for official rules and how to enter, check out the contest thread on the forums).

Of course there have been several jokes made comparing the game to various foods and dining experiences (some of them pretty funny, others... well, not so funny, but good try at humor guys ;) ) but there are a few people who have taken the time and created actual edible dishes.

Here are some of the entries we've received so far...

Don Janox was first up with this piece of work...

PSXGURU chimed in with this piece...

While dismemberment seems to be a common theme, I've thrown in my own creation... Iced Pignata Pie! (I don't qualify for the prizes, so you can all relax... you won't be competing against this fantastic culinary work of art!)

There are several more enteries... and more to come... so stay tuned and post your food creations!

How to enter and the official rules can be found here!

Mystery Bag Mulligan

Wanna have more of an option of what you get in your mystery bags? Well we're going to give you just that. We're introducing the Mystery Bag Mulligan! Here's how it works - when you click on your mystery bag requests from your mafia, you'll see what surprise you got inside. Don't like it or don't happen to need it? No problem! You can use 3RP for a chance to get another mystery gift and land on something you're sure to love.

It's really that simple. Next time you open a mystery bag and get something you may not need, just try your luck again and open another bag! Be on the lookout for this new feature coming to Mafia Wars. In the meantime, click here and play now: http://zyn.ga/1cu

Fisher House Charity Item

Be on the lookout for an exciting new item in the Marketplace. Mafia Wars is proud to introduce the Deep 6, a handy new weapon with 87 attack and 56 defense!

When you get the Deep 6, not only will you get its great stats that'll help you in your game, but you'll also be making a contribution to the Fisher House Program. Fisher House is an organization that supports the families of wounded vets and Service members in times of need by providing a "home away from home" for family members to be close to a loved one facing overwhelming medical hardship. We've teamed up with Fisher House to bring you this awesome new item to comemorate Veterans Day, and we'll be donating 100% of the net proceeds from the Deep 6 to support the efforts of Fisher House.

For more info on Fisher House, you can check them out here: http://fisherhouse.org/

As always, thanks to all of our players for supporting our efforts. We hope you love the new item as much as we do! Click here to play Mafia Wars today: http://zyn.ga/1bk

Revamping your Inventory

If you've been playing Mafia Wars for a while (and that can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 years) you probably have collected a ton of different weapons, armor, vehicles and animals. We understand that trying to keep track of everything you have can be a chore when your inventory looks like this image:

It is hard to know what you have, what you are using to outfit your 501 and what you need to get. That's what we hope to improve by doing an Inventory Revamp. Currently we are in our labs working on a solution to better organize your inventory... AND WE WANT YOUR INPUT!

Visit the forum thread for a glimpse of the mock-up screen shots and let us know what you think. What improvements would you add?

Let us know!
